Question: Many people ask other players in the virtual world of eorzea daily where can I get a Rowena’s Token or why should they get one.

Answer: The answer is fairly simple, you have to fight Extreme Primals they have a weekly reset time.

Remember this is not to be confused with the relic quest, the relics can be done on hard mode or HM as seen inside the game world.

From Wikia;

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, also known as Final Fantasy XIV, is the relaunched version of the fourteenth installment of the Final Fantasy series and the second, after Final Fantasy XI, to be an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game).

The original version of Final Fantasy XIV received heavy criticism at launch in 2010, prompting an official apology and the replacement of its development team. In October, 2011 Square Enix announced the game would be relaunched as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, an entirely new version rebuilt from the ground up. A Realm Reborn would carry over the original game’s setting, lore and story, but feature a new client, server structure, graphics engine, interface, terrain, and content.

The original version of the game, termed Version 1.0, received its final update in November 2012 and its service concluded that December. Alpha testing for A Realm Reborn commenced in November 2012, with a relaunch slated for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 in August 2013.

At E3 2013 it was revealed that Final Fantasy XIV would be available on the PlayStation 4 some time in 2014.

  1. After players have killed Garuda EX, Titan EX, and Ifrit EX in their respective unlock quests, the above quests is presented next. Players have each of the ritual foci they received at the end of the prior quests returned and sent to Rowena to exchange the three foci for three tokens. These tokens can then be used as currency for the i90 weapons available from Laraina (the same NPC that deals in gear paid for via tokens earned from the Behemoth and Odin FATEs). She also provides this next quest:

    This is the repeatable quest that allows the player to earn 3 more tokens (please note that the xibdb page for the quest erroneously says that only 1 token is given as a reward; the proper reward is shown on the information page for that quest on the lodestone:…t/66896b15b94/ ).

    The quest does not have to be completed in 1 weeks time. You can take as long as you need to complete the quest objectives, it just takes 1 week in order for the quest to become available once more.
