Netflix for Google Android
Greetings attached to this post is a version of Netflix known to work with a very broad range of google android devices such as smartphones, tablets, desktops and so on.

Tried it with no success. Starts download but then says file not found. I have a Trio Stealth Pro 7.
downloaded this for my tablet ….some china tablet from amazon.. i took regular netflix off, downloaded this. showed downloaded but i don’t see netflix anywhere on apps or on home page. showed it downloaded this htm file. am i missing something? i am a non-techie that just likes to use technology, not troubleshoot when things go haywire
Enable Unknown Sources
Before attempting a manual installation of apps using the .apk files, you must first allow your phone to install from “Unknown Sources” (i.e. non-Market apps).
To do this, navigate to Menu -> Settings -> Applications and check the box marked “Unknown Sources“.
I have the same problem and I cant seem to find anything saying Unknown sources
I found mine under security settings. My problem is says “open with HTMLViewer” If I do that it says file not found and Netflix still isn’t on my tablet :/
“Unknown sources” was under settings then security. Mine was already checked off to allow non-market apps. Still says file not found even though tablet showed no problem downloading and that download complete. Uggh!,

This doesn’t work for me either. Says file not found html. And yes I can download and install from unknown sites. Haven’t used nf since I bought my elf. Maybe ssomeone could look into this. Possibly a bad file…

Works great on my yeahpad running android 4.04! Downloaded to my computer, copied it to a usb drive, plugged usb drive into tablet and installed from there. Took less than 5 minutes. I could not get it to download and install directly to the tablet. My daughter is getting this as a gift and Netflix was the main reason. I was really bummed when the current version didn’t work. Loaded it on a Kocaso M760W. Had to e-mail the apk to myself then install it from gmail. Worked fine and installed with no problem. But I can’t actually click on anything. I can login and flick through all the movies on the screen but I can’t actually tap on anything and start a movie. It just ignores all my screen taps. So I can only scroll through what is already on the screen. Seems like I can access any text fields (like the logon and search fields). But I can’t click/tap on anything. Please help!
1. When you are downloading the file (and it saves as an HTM file) it may be because of the browser. I found that if I utilized my computer it would DL the file properly. I then used a thumb drive to move it over to my Tablet, and could install it.
2. My issue still remains however (after trying the alt install and the black file). The tablet in question is a MID 7″ running ICS 4.0.3, by these guys http://www.globalpct.com/ . When I first run the app across the top the “Members sign in” button shows. Below is a sign up for free trial. Both the Members sign in and the “continue” button will not register being pressed. this is also for the standard NF file. where you see the privacy policy link etc… when I press these you hear the click like it registers but nothing happens as well.
It should be noted that in each instance of install and uninstall I rebooted the tablet…
